Boarding

At Camp Gulfshore our caring Pet Counselors take pride in caring for your pet in a clean and healthy environment, as well as providing them some fun in the sun. Camp Gulfshore’s goal is to make your pet’s visit with us is as comfortable as if he was in his own home. If our repeat customers are any indication, Camp Gulfshore is the perfect “home away from home”

Take Our Tour: 
We invite you to enjoy a personalized guided tour of our facility so that you will be able to experience first-hand our commitment to making your pet’s stay with us the best it can be. All our “suites” (kennels) and “condos” (cages) are under air conditioning, and a variety of music is provided throughout the facility.

Accommodations:
For our canine guests we offer a choice in accommodations – either our canine condos measuring 28”d x 23”w x 27”h or our canine suites that are a spacious 80”d x 35”w x 7’h. Playtime activities include free play at the noon hour in our “room to romp” 50’w x 100’d playground. Our Counselors entertain each guest with a multitude of outside toys, including a wading pool. Our feline guests are entertained in a separate “Room With A View”, providing them with a great bird or lizard watching area. It’s not uncommon for passers-by to witness one of our guests lounging in the window sill, cat-napping and enjoying the Florida sun. 

Requirements:
All boarding guests must be current on vaccinations. For their safety and the safety of others, all dogs must be protected annually against rabies and bordetella, and must receive a distemper combination vaccine. The laboratory tests required annually are fecal and heartworm checks. Cats too are required to have annual vaccinations for rabies, as well as a distemper combination and feline leukemia, and have their stool checked. Gulfshore Animal Hospital has four veterinarians on staff who would be glad to provide your pet with these vaccines during their stay should the need arise. If your pet requires medical attention during it’s stay with us you can rest assured that a Doctor is on the premises during hospital business hours.

Services:
In addition to boarding, Camp Gulfshore also provides day camp and day spa services, should you find yourself needing a relaxing day at home and your pet needing a day of play or being pampered with a refreshing bath.

Reservations & Deposits:
For your convenience boarding deposits are optional, however timely reservations are very important! Camp Gulfshore is very busy during the summer months and holidays so make certain to get your reservations in as soon as possible so we will be able to accommodate your needs. We do have a mandatory evacuation procedure for hurricanes from June 1st to November 1st.
